you now have an obligation to ensure that your employees are properly trained in the equipment they use for work – this
includes the motor vehicle.
These requirements apply regardless of whether the employees are true company vehicle drivers or part of the 'grey fleet' driving thier own car. Your course of action:
Have in place a working company driver's policy
Operate a driver's risk assessment
Driver training
Check drivers documents regularly
Ensure the vehicle is suitable for task in hand
