The Lifing Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulation 1998:

Regulation 9 requires the "Thorough examination and inspection of  lifting equipment at the statutory intervals"

This course is designed for employees who have a responsibility for issuing, storing, inspecting, condemning or aquiring lifting equipment.

"You have a duty of care to ensure your employees are competent to carry out this skill especially if you are appointing them as your responsible person."
